Language-Supported Financial Aid Night -Spokane

January 25 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

The College Success Foundation is hosting a financial aid night on January 25th, 2024 at Ferris High School. This event is for seniors who are interested in filing FAFSA or WASFA, both of which are applications students can file to receive financial aid towards community college and/or 4-year Universities. At the event, there will be professionals from the College Success Foundation and Spokane Community Colleges who will provide support to families as they complete FAFSA/WASFA.  Spanish, Marshallese, Ukrainian, Karen, and Arabic language interpretation will be available to provide 1-on-1 support. Other language interpreters may be provided based on availability and registration but is not guaranteed.

Parking: Free parking anywhere in the Visitor Parking Lot

Before attending this event, please make sure student and parent(s) have created their FSA IDs. *IDs can take 1-3 days to verify.

Additional materials to bring on January 25th: 

  • FSA ID for student and parent(s)
  • SSN or Green Card and other immigration documents for student and parent(s) if applicable
  • A computer & charger
  • Copy of 2022 1040 tax filings and all 2022 W2s for both student (if applicable), and parent (if applicable)
  • 2021 nontaxed income (child support), if applicable.
  • Amount of investments (not including primary residence).
  • Cash, savings, and checking account balances. These can be approximate figures.
