At LaunchNW, we believe every young person deserves the opportunity to discover their strengths and passions, feel a deep sense of belonging, and confidently take the next steps toward a vibrant future. Our region is filled with bright, capable youth, and our mission is to ensure that every child, from birth through career attainment, has the support, connection, and resources they need to thrive.
As a community‑driven initiative of Innovia Foundation, LaunchNW brings together partners from across Eastern Washington and North Idaho to address barriers that stand in the way of student well‑being and success. These barriers are identified by examining data that maps a child’s journey from birth to career attainment. Informed by this data, LaunchNW co-designs and implements intervention programs with our partners. Through the lens of systems change and a collective impact approach, we have implemented programs like Mpower, FAFSA Opens Doors, All it Takes is One, College Navigator Program, and Engage In Real Life. Addressing the challenges our youth face cannot be done by a single entity. Challenges must be faced by collective groups who are bound by a common goal, agree to share data, best practices, and hold each other accountable.
We do collective impact work not because it is easier, but because we know it is the way to make lasting change. Whether it’s helping a student navigate the FAFSA, connecting them with mentors, supporting their mental health, or awarding Promise Scholarships that expand post‑high‑school opportunities, collectively our programs are designed to meet youth where they are and walk with them toward what’s possible.
Whatever part you play — a scholarship donor, a LaunchNW partner, educator, parent, mentor, business leader, volunteer, elected official, program funder, or in a formal role as a LaunchNW Board Member — I thank you for being part of this journey.
