For Schools
The 2025 FAFSA Completion Challenge is an exciting initiative to encourage schools to increase FAFSA completion rates among their graduating seniors.
Schools that demonstrate significant FAFSA completion improvements are eligible for recognition at the Silver and Gold levels, with the potential to earn grant awards. We recognize that every school has unique challenges and opportunities, which is why we are open to adjusting individual school goals to ensure they remain both challenging and attainable. If you would like to discuss setting a specific goal that best supports your school’s success, we encourage you to reach out. We want every school to have a realistic pathway toward improvement and recognition.
Schools must submit their weekly FAFSA completion data and consent to LaunchNW publishing that data on the FAFSA Opens Doors website to be eligible.
Schools are encouraged to implement creative and effective strategies to engage students and families, including:
- Hosting FAFSA completion events.
- Providing one-on-one FAFSA support.
- Launching targeted outreach campaigns to boost awareness and participation.
Grant funds can be used to sustain or expand these efforts, ensuring ongoing support for FAFSA completion and postsecondary readiness.
We look forward to supporting schools in their efforts to help more students unlock financial aid opportunities and pursue their educational goals.
Note: Data submission will be available past the application deadline of February 14, 2025.
