Educational Access Ambassadors (EAAs) are trained community volunteers who help families understand and complete financial aid applications at school-hosted and community events.
At this event, you will receive all required training—no prior financial aid or college/career expertise is needed. After the training, you’ll understand the application process and feel confident providing clear, compassionate support to families.
You are never expected to work alone. At every event, trained professionals and fellow volunteers are present to provide guidance and answer complex questions.
Participation is completely flexible! You decide if and when to volunteer.
Beyond volunteering, you’ll gain practical knowledge to support friends, family, and your community. Each year, millions of dollars in financial aid for Washington students go unused—often because families are unaware of available opportunities or lack guidance navigating the process.
If you care about helping families access education and want to be part of a community-based solution, we invite you to complete the interest form and become an Educational Access Ambassador. Download the flyer for more information here.
